Laundry room is coming along...

 Not a whole lot going on with the remodel, but hoping to get a lot accomplished while on Christmas break.  

The Laundry/bathroom is about half done.  Shiplap on two walls, built ins for washer and dryer, upper cabinets and countertop are all finished.  Floors, remaining walls, and vanity/sink area are next.

Making progress...SLOWLY

With all of the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, our makeover progress has slowed to a crawl.  I did manage to get the "play room" (as we call it) complete.  This is the hangout room for our kids, and their friends when they're over.  We got new furniture, with a sofa sleeper, so no one has to sleep on the deflated air mattress anymore.  I'm sure they'll all appreciate that! :)

We already had this cabinet.  I just painted the inside panels to match the new decor

We've started work on the laundry/bathroom downstairs. I think this is a much bigger project than Randy was anticipating. LOL  Because it is the bathroom that everyone uses when we have patio parties, I think it's important that it look nice even though it still has to function as our laundry room. 

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

We're back from vacation and finally got the Christmas decorating finished. Now that the decorating is complete, we're ready to start back up the makeover projects.  :)

I LOVE CHRISTMAS!

I really scaled back on the downstairs decorating this year because we're going to start the laundry room makeover next.  The room will be a mess until the work is finished anyway.

Even my Christmas decorations are getting a makeover ;-)
