Making progress
We got all of the entry doors done, with the exception of the pocket door that is rarely closed. I’m so excited about the way everything is looking!

Save Money By Making Over Current Furniture Pieces
Every time I update a look in my home, there are bound to be pieces of furniture that get a makeover also. This is another piece that I acquired in a furniture trade about 30 years ago. It just keep making the cut thanks to the magic of paint. This is one of the ways I save lots of money when updating my home. Here is the latest version of this sweet little armoire from the 1920’s.

Black Doors?
Last night I painted the kitchen doors black. I can’t believe the difference it made. Now I want to do them all! Randy is going to kill me! 😬

Black is the new black
Sunday, February 2, 2020
Well folks...we’re at it again 😉
It’s been 3 years since our last whole house makeover. Anyone who knows me well, knows I’m forever feeling the need to change things up. It just makes me happy. It’s my creative outlet.
While this facelift won’t be nearly as extensive as our last makeover, I do plan to update the look of the entire house by adding more black to the mix. Let me know what you think.
We’re starting with the master bedroom. First on the agenda was this fireplace. I feel like adding the black here made a huge difference. No more continually trying to keep the brick clean. 👏👏

Before
After
Here’s my question...I’ve already ordered the same vinyl “Grateful Thankful Blessed” transfer because I liked it so much before. However, when I temporarily put up this little sign, My husband really liked it. Which would you choose?
