Check Tiny Master Bath Off The List

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but our teeny tiny master bathroom is finished.  We installed new hardwood flooring, put in shiplap and changed all the fixtures.  We bought new shower doors but they didn't fit, so we decided just to use a shower curtain for now.

I've never been great at accessorizing. It's definitely a work in progress, but here are some pics I've recently shared on my new Instagram.

Randy is working on the corner cupboard for the sunroom. It should be finished this weekend.

Chalk Paint Fail

If you've been following for a while, you know that one of our early projects was the hall bathroom.  We tried painting the floor with chalk paint, following the instructions to the letter.  Unfortunately, with the dogs, it's just not durable enough for our family.  Therefore, we went ahead and changed out the tile flooring to a hardwood floor that has been recycled from Randy's parents' house. We feel really blessed to get this. It's beautiful!

I really love the look!  It has inspired us to also change out the flooring in our tiny master bath.
Looks like ANOTHER trip to Home Depot tonight. LOL

The Whelping Box Is Finished!

I'm still moving around accessories, but the whelping box is finished.  I think it looks so much better. Like I said before, if we have to have this big thing sitting in our bedroom, at least it's gonna be cute!

Bedroom Update

I'm so excited! The bedroom is basically finished. I have a few more accessories coming that I have to switch out, and I still need to update the whelping box, but other than that, it's done. Yay!

This room came with a lot of challenges! (Having a giant whelping box sitting in the middle of your bedroom isn't the most attractive thing, LOL) I also really dislike the bed sitting in front of that small window, but with the giant armoire that houses most of my shoe collection, there's really no where else for it to go. The armoire is a family piece that belonged to Randy's Great Grandmother and I absolutely LOVE it, so it's definitely not going anywhere.  Therefore, I just had to design around those two huge pieces.

It was a lot of work to shiplap two full rooms, and Randy has gotten really good at it, but I'm sure he's glad that part of it's all finished.  We'll be changing out the paper on the whelping box next, and then I'll take more pictures of the entire space.

The tiny master bathroom is next.  The shiplap is already done in there,  so we'll just be changing out fixtures and the shower doors,
