Weekend Projects

 We got the chandelier hung in the living room this weekend, So, except for the new chairs, this room is complete.

               

 This picture was my weekend craft project.  It's made from an old frame and leftover paint and stencils. (anyone recognize the French Poem stencil from the outdoor table we made this summer?)

                 

 The bathroom is now finished also. We painted the floor with Annie Sloan's chalk paint in "graphite".  At first I wasn't sure this was going to work.  The paint easily scraped off the porcelain tile until we put the lacquer on.  It seems like it's going to be fine now.  I'll keep you updated.

  The kitchen and dining room just got some minor accessory changes.  The kitchen may or may not be finished.  I'm still considering painting the bottom cabinets black.  Opinions welcome.

   Dining Room is finished except for a picture for the wall behind the table. It's been ordered. I'm just waiting for it to be delivered.

We have decided to wait until after Thanksgiving to start the laundry room.  We're going to take the next week to decorate for Christmas instead.  I cant wait!
